★ Winning direction

You picked the design-object showcase — and it's the right call for a reason that matters at catalogue scale: it has no mechanical interaction, so there's nothing for the AI to fake. A light sweep + a slow orbit works on anything — a toaster, an air fryer, a kettle, a cast-iron pot. Here's the exact same treatment on two unrelated products, to prove the format travels. Unmute for the sound design.

Retro toaster

white + chrome
7-99270. Hard light rakes the glossy white body and chrome, slow orbit, focus rack lever→dial. The piece that won the test.

Digital air fryer

black + stainless
7-99709. Same treatment, opposite material — light travels across the steel as the glass screen glows. Completes the air fryer's full motion set (360 + buildout + 3D + this).

How this fits the deliverable set

Key nuance worth pricing around: this showcase and the hero-turn 360 do the same job — rotate to reveal the product's form — so they're one rotation deliverable at two quality tiers, not two separate videos. Which means Michael's "AI video" slot still wants a distinct style (in-use / lifestyle / UGC) — the thing rotation doesn't do. Those render beautifully too; the only catch is the in-use mechanic (a lever's genuine travel), which is a one-off keyframed Kling shot per hero item. For now: showcase is the locked premium-rotation method. The distinct AI-video style is a phase-2 build if we win the job.
